Can we stop acting like people are obligated to write characters to represent people. A character doesn’t have to represent anyone or even be a good person, they just have to be interesting to read about.
Can we also stop telling writers what to do, they don’t owe anyone anything. Being a writer doesn’t make you some speaker on social issues even if your work gets popular. It’s shitty to expect people to write what you want, write your own story, you have no right telling people how they are supposed to write
